Our Story
Faith, Family, and the Sea
The story of Ruby Yachts USA is a testament to passion and purpose. Founder Russ Thomas discovered his profound love for boating in 1996 while living in Wisconsin as a contract computer consultant and programmer. Driven by this newfound passion, Russ relocated his family to the beautiful coastal city of Daytona Beach, Florida 2 years later. After they upsized to a 44 foot motoryacht, the open water of the ocean offered not just recreation, but a calling.
Surrounded by the maritime spirit, he set out to create something enduring.
In the year 2000, Russ established this faith-based business, naming it in honor of his beloved wife, Ruby. Her name represents the core values of the company: strength, rarity, and an unwavering foundation.
For over two decades, Ruby Yachts USA has been dedicated to crafting exceptional custom Passagemakers and Expedition Yachts. The purpose and plan has been to build more than vessels; but to forge lasting relationships and craft the platform for your family's greatest adventures, grounded in Russ' faith and a commitment to excellence.
Start your adventue today with Russ and Ruby Yachts USA, and let's build your next Nautical Statement together!
