The Ruby Expedition 65 is a steel semi-displacement vessel capable of traveling the world in safety and comfort. Its rugged, freighter-look attests to the fact that it is a serious small ship as it traveres any ocean.

Space has been designed into this vessel to provide accommodations for two couples plus all the facilities expected by today’s cruising yachts-man. The engine room has standing headroom and more than sufficient space to hold all the machinery necessities one needs to feel at home on the water. Single screw or twin, it will all fit in there with room to spare.

The suggested lower deck arrangement of the Ruby Expedition 65 features a full width master stateroom amidships, with queen-size bed, and an ensuite head. Two guest staterooms are also included, along with space for an office or workshop. The VIP stateroom is forward and has a queen-size bed. The second guest stateroom is on the portside, and has upper and lower berths.

The fiberglass hull used for the Ruby Expedition 65 has a successful 30 year heritage in the commercial fishing industry, having been designed for stability and longevity. Optional active or passive stabilizer fins, or “flopper stoppers”, and a bulbous bow can be added to reduce roll and pitch. A bow thruster can easily be added to help make docking a snap.

To assure quality, the Ruby Expedition 65 will be certified by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) in accordance with American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) standards, as well as other certifications as required.
