The Ruby Passagemaker 43 is a full displacement (steel), or semi-displacement steel vessel capable of traveling the world in safety and comfort.  It is available with regular side decks, or as a wide body version allowing the salon to use the full beam of the boat.  The raised pilothouse and Portuguese bridge are both stylish and functional.

Space has been designed into this vessel to provide accommodations for two couples plus all the facilities expected by today’s cruising yachts-man.  The engine room is accessible from the lower deck, and has more than sufficient space to hold all the machinery necessities one needs to feel at home on the water.

The lower deck arrangement of the Ruby Passagemaker 43 features a master stateroom forward, with queen-size bed and room to stretch out.  The guest stateroom is located amidships on the portside, also with a queen-size bed.   The head features a double vanity and a private door to the master stateroom.

The hullform incorporates the latest thinking from Bruce Roberts Design when it comes to passagemaking trawler yachts, including:  a single chined hull to reduce rolling, a higher prismatic coefficient to allow increased speeds when required.  Combine these new features with the tried and true integrated spray flat in her hull to knock down spray and to lift the bow in head seas or while running down a swell, and a full keel and balanced rudder assembly; you now have the latest and best in underbody passagemaker design.

The Ruby Passagemaker 43 is structurally designed to meet or exceed ABS requirements for motor pleasure yachts.  And, her stability meets or exceeds the U.S. Coast Guard requirement for an offshore passenger vessel.  Other specific certifications are available as needed.
