The Ruby Expedition 85 House Forward is a custom built to order full displacement vessel capable of self-sufficiently traveling the world in safety, comfort and style. She boasts a Steel hull and Aluminum superstructure, making her very rugged while minimizing her weight.

Space has been designed into this vessel to provide accommodations for up to ten people plus all the facilities and amenities expected by today’s cruising yachtsman in a vessel of this type. The engine room has standing headroom with more than enough space to hold all the machinery necessities one needs to feel at home on the water most anywhere in the world. Single screw or twin, it will all fit in there with room to spare.

Perhaps the most unique feature of the Ruby Expedition 85 House Forward is that of the master stateroom placement on the Main Deck. King size bed, twin hanging lockers, plenty of drawers and a built-in desk are its notable distinguishing components. In addition, the ensuite head offers a twin sink vanity and bathtub/shower combination.

The two suggested lower deck arrangements for the Ruby Expedition 85 offers three or four additional staterooms for family and guests. The four stateroom layout provides comfortable sleeping quarters in the form of two double beds, one twin bed and one double bunk. Each stateroom has its own private head, with the exception of the twin bed stateroom whose head also serves as a public dayhead. The three stateroom layout includes a VIP stateroom forward and two rooms with twin beds. Each stateroom has a private ensuite head. There is also a dayhead for public use.

The Ruby Expedition 85 House Forward is co-designed by Ruby Yachts and world renowned designer Bruce Roberts, having been designed for stability and longevity. Optional active or passive stabilizer fins and a bulbous bow can be added to further reduce roll and pitch. A bow thruster can easily be added to help make docking a snap.

To assure quality, the Ruby Expedition 85 House Forward will be certified by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) in accordance with American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) standards, as well as other certifications as required.
